The glistening streets.
Rain.
Pudddles.
Trains, buses, cars and sodden cyclists.

Sun and the creaking of drying bark on the trees.

A lake shares not one ripple.

The river still runs.

We remain imaginative observers.

There is no substitute for being fully conscious or as some call it, “present” .

Are these two in fact different? Not much.

Aware and calm.

Alive to the sounds of music.
And, the rustling of leaves.

So many choices.

Sign of freedom.

If you feel having a choice is stressful, learn to use your “sense” of what is right – some call it “gut feeling”.

Choice is good, it’s part of being a lucky one in a world filled with variety and possibility.

When it seems like the rain will never stop, it does.

When the sun shines and you can see new flowers where there were none, you can smile.

When the answer to something fantastically good you start to build is “no”, after calm and sustained effort the answer becomes “yes”.

Providing you aim for something great that is beyond the norm.

If I decided not to write anything for this day’s “reply”, that would be all right.

But there is a great advantage in trying every day to create something.

Some days that may be something good, and I hope from time to time, a splendid thing.

Today it is just what I have written here!
