My executive travel planner and mood identifier would have a difficult job.
I do not choose the same thing each trip.
Sometimes I choose the bright lights of the city, viewed from a base of polished brass, marble, and uniformed concierges, to advise on every move I might make.
Then there are the rural log cabins where the firewood for the stove is whatever you can find as fallen branches, modified to fit with the aid of a well honed axe.
A horse ride of short duration is fine. A limousine ride not unwelcome. Yet a seemingly endless trek from dawn until after dusk around a newly visited city, is a treat as well.
And it’s not always the shaken, not stirred, drink I choose in the evening!
