They had just started to wave in appreciation of the landing skills.

When someone navigates, even if with millions of lines of computer code helping the gyro-finder, to the exact parking spot outside their favourite cafe on the planet Ganoz-1, after a ninety million mile trip, we applaud.

Or we might.

The planet has not been discovered yet as it, a little like the mythical “Brigadoon”, only appears once in a while. In fact, the rest of the time it is just not there.

During what Ganozians know as the Quiet Period, they can neither leave nor might anyone arrive on their paradise of a planet.

Just goes to show….timing is everything!

Buzzing and melodies together.

A fly alighted on the loudspeaker unaware that it was one of the best speakers in the world. It was estimated it would take the fly five hundred years of extremely hard labor to earn enough money to buy just one of a pair.

The music was soft, with enough strength and rhythm to be remembered for years, and over many miles of travel.

Occasionally a modern jazz blues symphony can be created that appeals to country and western as well as folk music and death metal fans.

This is one such occasion.

Remembering the narrow streets where wheels turned polishing gems, stones and beads.

We gave them awards by being their customers.

Some were true craftsmen, who tried to teach their apprentices to do the job
as well as they had for decades.

When they’re gone, they’re gone, the people in the street market told us.

When it’s true, it’s true.

Magic is real, really.

You are the “App” for that.

The phrase “there’s an App for that” is often used humorously to imply that anything you want or imagine can be managed or brought into being by a smart-phone App, a small software program in effect.

But we all know, I hope you know, that for some things you just have to do, or at least control, the style choices, design and decisions.

One of the reasons that people say everyone has value is that it is true.

And that is why in some cases you

are

the App !

Susceptible to inputs.

The temperature, the smells and aromas, the humidity, the sounds – for us these are all inputs.

A joke told in a serious voice can sometimes be funnier than one in an imitation Donald Duck voice.

Hearing people on the table behind us in a restaurant speaking in a foreign language, can remind of the illusion of being, in a game-playing childish way, a spy on a mission, when all you really need do is reply to the waiter’s question “rice or potatoes with that?”.

The illusion of connection is not always untrue, and it is what we all aim for.
