Filled with hope, water and chocolate, we entered the sweeping Bizton Valley.

Two deer ran slowly in the distance, looking like excited children trying to catch the mail delivery.

Sounds of bells and wind.

The aroma of cilantro and thyme.

A season like no other.

Generally the idea is sound.

Specifically we all agree.

Decidedly we start and keep going forward.

Illuminated stone walls.

A prison? A Castle? A historic monument?

Outside they were selling freedom burgers and philosophy salads.

The ice cream vendor was melting in the heat, the ice cream was not.

Two stones and two violins were piled in a corner.

The flowers were blooming.

The sky was invisible, the road soft.

Welcome, they said.

They were cutting enormous loaves of bread in the pouring rain. Thin slices.

The dogs smiled and seemed to understand. But of course they saw meat.

We sailed into the harbour with a smile of celebration.

After years of sailing and buffeting and rolling with the waves – any port looked good.

What a treat to walk on un-swaying terra firma.

And you all walk on cobblestones to get some exercise!

The rope was tied tight, nothing would move.

They wore blue blazers the colour of a midnight sky during a full moon.

Sentient algorithms played like bassoons tuned to rhyme with acoustic guitars.

Six was the number they had chosen.

There were 33 of them and thus, five groups with three left over.

Those three made the decisions on behalf of the others, as they were considered the wisest of all and also honest.

A good start.
