Start. The starting gun was fired and no sooner did my mind say “go!” Seconds later it was done. 

So quick, no one saw anything.

But the result was beautiful. A symphony of musical engineering and hand sewn scaffolding. 

What a mix. Yes. Too much to contemplate in that second that remained.

The legend lives on! We are so grateful.

Across the road a sign winked and flickered.

Come in, or buy something, something like that…that’s what it seemed to say.

But the sign was mounted on a blank, solid wall. No shop or office window, no door to enter. 

Then, it became obvious.

The whole building was inviting and tempting the unoccupied or the curious people who happened to pass by. 

When a building speaks, who listens?

Verify the strengh of the pillows before putting the book to bed.

Who’s awake and who’s asleep?

We have lift-off and we have touch-down. 

Heels dug in, we ride into the sunrise completing the tasks at hand and rounding up the collectors’ albums.

There are days, weeks, months and years…but don’t forget the minutes, the moments!

Red, magenta, orange, cue green, redemption orange and pure through blue.

We have a spectrum to explore.

Wavelengths to fill.

Vibrating to the tuning fork’s wisdom and the wise one’s advice.

This time there will be chocolate fruit and vegetarian pasta.

Food. Glorious food. Necessary, but not to be worshiped, except if you are brothers with a celebrity chef. 

A chain of socks were drying in the jasmine-scented breeze.
