What weighed on his mind was the whey sitting atop the yoghurt.

He decided not to think about it, then realized there was no need to worry about it. 

The whey is part of the process of making yoghurt. It occupies the highest position once yoghurt is left standing for a little while.

Stir it in, mix it so it is united and you have, as he had, peace of mind!

Even though the stones of the riverbed were dry, if we went far enough upstream we always found water flowing.

A trickle, at least.

So, returning to explore the same subject, with deeper toying, prying and playing, brings fresh observations and understanding.

New knowledge from old sources.
