Saving the tone of the song and paddling a board across ripples almost invisible.

Didn’t get to the top without a few steps that required pushing and persuading myself young one.

Here from the giddy heights, we see everything. Everything we want to that is. The rest is gubble.

Drips , tips and lips.

All from the same spring.

Generous grappling with tenuous tribes of velvet.

And what, no tip?

…..

Flying high.

The vegetable broth sits next to a large potato and waits.

Ingredients have their moment. If they wait.

I’m glad we are able to do something, that includes “doing” nothing.

We have these choices, more numerous than all the shades in the Pantone color spectrum, more varied than the colors in a year of watching the sky.

Every part of a second allows a new course, a fine or coarse tuning of some single thing or multiple elements, whatever it is we want to adopt.

All artists.

Always imagining the fever of first steps and creation.

Does the dishes, talks to the passing people, welcomes the visitors, listens to everyone’s stories.

Who is this? This is not the description of one person or any person.

We do not think of people this way.

If lucky, we know someone who we always laugh with, another we become seriously concerned about the world’s ready-to-be-solved problems, another we experiment in the garage or kitchen or cloth-cutting counter with and so on, and more.

Then there is the voice, the tone, the coloration of objects, the descriptions, and then there is more.

The magician who is wise and knows best. We may want to be her. The one who laughs and brings others into the laughter ring, all day long. We may want to be him. The one who is ever inventing and introducing the new and almost-miraculous, we may want that ability.

And why not. In this realm, the more (varieties) really are the merrier. And none need be like the other. We like them all.

The best parties have the most different and seemingly wildly unconnected bunch of people, who it always turns out, love meeting each other.

There are no limits when creativity, positivity and the considerable can-do art of the possible drive our thinking.

We can solve any problem, that’s the wondrous magnitude of human beings.

We may not do so. Clearly so far we have often fallen short.

But all it takes is a decision in each case to say yes, let’s create this, let’s solve that.

There are dangers – some natural, some unfortunate or ill considered results that are sad mistakes. But that’s all. Life is an adventure and never predictable for long periods, or predictable periods. But better? Always.

Whenever we decide upon it.

Pronouncing the name of a street, the one you want to visit, in a language you don’t know – practicing it, it is difficult until you get there and all the sounds just fit.

Being there, where the thing you look for, could be just the language, lives and is part of the style and very air of that place….it replaces all the guide books, tutorials, and lessons.

Reading is good. It is. But you enjoy the moments of learning by being, doing and living so much more. Indeed books come alive when you have lived in some of those streets, observed some of the characters and even worked on the principles described by doing the dishes (as George Orwell did before creating the freshest gritty writing for decades, in his “Down and Out in London and Paris”, for example).

Today, going about the normal palaver of things, this concept might just change the prosaic and repetitive, almost-invisible, into a masterpiece of discovery and understanding.

And smiling lightly…the odd laugh, why not!
