Same shirt, different city.

The trees had been planted close together over 150 years ago, they now provided ample shade.

Groups gathered at cafes and restaurants to enjoy fine coffee and fresh pampered dishes.

The world existed from this place, not only in it or outside, but it emanated from the shade of old trees.

One month flamenco dancers made a guest appearance.

To them it was a promotion for their ticket sales, at the Grand Theatre of the Empire.

Now, I meet friends and gain insights.

Where the sun went we followed.

A good choice and an easy one.

Delaying ventures, but accelerating thoughts.

We never waited for an offer, the world was enough.

Now the light brightens in the morning when we ask for it.

Days pray for more months and years.

Our speech is perfect.

….

We are gathered here today, to eat chocolate and open the bottle you gave me years ago.

It is a special occasion because we manufactured one. Today.

Before the sun shrinks and the ice turns hot tea cold, we must toast.

That is, we should drink to something good which we wish for all great people.

And aren’t all people great? No. But give’em all something good.

Generous, grateful and amused by the weird way we take a long time to learn obvious lessons.

But then, the obvious, rarely made for a good story while waiting for the plane to take off.

Anything you like, oh, except anything grilled.

But that was early in the morning and by noon anything, was the word, they would provide anything you want.

Worked hard, thought carefully, spent time quietly drifting, and solved the big looming problems of the day.

Now, there is no need for any of the difficulties to be there any more.

Some are a little addicted to them though.

We have programs for those who can’t break free.

However, attendance is voluntary!

Arrived.

A short journey, a long climb, a new altitude and changed attitude.

The hotel was built with stone from neighbouring mountains and decorated with marble from Carrera.

Bells rang making one think of goats on mountainsides in Greece. They actually signified that supper was ready.

We dined on tables positioned at various altitudes according to preference. A view, or a breathtaking view.

Staying here was a special thing, it had taken five years to get a reservation.

And we are special!
