An island few visited.
A long journey, so tired, and so inspired.
The island was beautiful by land and beautiful by sea.
Layers of pink crystal showed at points along the river bank.
Fish swam close to the rocks as if in love with the land, tempted, yet alert.
A forest of 96 trees, last time I counted, was small but, large enough to get lost in and lose the world.
The tavernas and cafes around the harbor and only small village offered the purest enjoyment and sustenance in perfect harmony.
If you haven’t found this place, start looking now.
You’ll always be grateful.
