So close were the rings.

They clashed, clinked and rattled when they shook hands with welcome strangers.

This wealth of jewelry and decor, trims and trusses were insidious pleasantries of the gentle folk living behind the walls.

Now, things are different.

How are they different?

Who knows…we don’t.

We just feel it.

And that, said the jester to the inventor, is all that matters.

There were smiles all round.

Twisting the wires improved reception of the weak radio signal.

If you have a mobile phone you will not remember, or will soon forget, the idea that you might turn a radio station receiver around and suddenly hear your favorite music clearly without crackles, pops and whistles. If this is not familiar, go and see a really old movie – they might show you what radio was like in what was called its “Golden Age”.

But it is worth understanding how new the presumption is of “total reliability” of electrical appliances and equipment.

Things simply “work”. Now.

First, the road was clear and second, it was twenty years ago today.

Less traffic and faster cars.

No battery power and many a flat battery.

No longer. Now the roads are longer and the opportunities greater.

Progress is good. We will add the progress needed in the other, unattended, areas.

We will become even more.

What was the main motivation that drove you to do so many interesting things?

Not sure “driven” was the way he’d describe it.

Funny how others thought it so interesting – he was sure it was normal, familiar and average.

When you look at what motivates others, there are always far more questions to be asked, if a good conclusion is to be drawn.

Skill, yes maybe. Luck, always some. Perception, perhaps. Imagination….why not!

Let’s stop thinking about that, and go out and do something amazing.

Yes….I know!
