Detecting the hint of jasmine.

There are other flowers, plants and shrubs.

Trees didn’t count towards the bonus.

Brick walls, lattice fences and manicured hedges were a bonus.

Ornate metal gates would ensure victory.

A prize was invisible, a victory sweeter than Arc de Ron.

Repaired and ready for another century.

Who? What? When? Where?

We could not find the answer.

The last three chapters were either never written or lost.

We will have to start writing and invent the ending of this grand story.

It will seem like fresh work, a new book – except for the beginning.

We share some things, but not as many as we would like.

Secrets abide in the shadows of true friendship, openness and confident description fuel connection.

We are sad, then happy, then wiser.

Sometimes we are lost in thought, space or bubbling experience of that moment.

But we say “we”. Do you?

So many stories told about other lives.

Time for our own.
