Disappearing assets and the boys with silver shoes.

Shoe laces over a hundred feet long.

Pleasant banks that listen like warm, caring therapists and prescribe cash sparingly.

Fast moving snails and slow bikers on the round road to never blush and never flush.

Now, this may be the way Vegas could be if it had an imagination.

Just mashed pastry with a side serving of gululania syrup and cinnamon.

There is too much talk about food, and not enough talk about food.

Don’t forget, some people still need it.

Some still lack decent food.

And we, in some countries, treat it as automatic, grows-on-trees and just falls into our lap.

It was a starter kit.

We were about to discover what the start was, the beginning.

The aim was to be a finisher, a graduate, a skilled user of crayons.

The next stop was professional duster of shelves and corners.

Then, turner of pages in a book (the old type).

Then, compliment-issuer for people telling jokes (“wow, that was so funny!”).

All good things begin, it seems they don’t have to end.

The eagles had more to say but no language to use.

That’s what we thought.

We were incorrect, mistaken, flummoxed, confused.

Later the eagles were amused.

We all joined hands in a circle and flew together toward the summit of civilization.

Dancing started.

An alarm sounded, more people started dancing.

The boardroom meeting included excellent coffee, loganberry tea and individually wrapped pastries the size of a 4 year-old’s thumb. No you need not be concerned.

At sea, experienced sailors managed to beat all previous records and, inland, skiers threaded their way in graceful and soothing progress.

Throw the dice.
