Stability and adventure.

They met in a chrome-paneled cafe.

Two seats were empty, that’s all.

Nothing fried, nothing gained.

We learnt that from the cafe, where wisdom poured from the walls, the menu, the waiters and waitresses and the cashier.

A more delight-filled venue for a worthwhile meeting has not been discovered.

Look for such a place and the search itself will be full of laughs and kind encounters.

A holding pattern and a slick surface.

Waiting. It was the best way and while doing so we observed people coming and going, and a few who seemed not to know which they were doing!

Everyone looked distracted, except the ones with style.

Those who chose something other than what everyone else wore, looked like they knew the secret to better things.

We hope when a new entertainment series titled “Better Things” arrives, that it will be a breath of fresh air. Buoyant, inspiring and visionary. Some will like it so much they’ll want to Bring Back The Water Cooler!

Twisted to add strength, the silk rope defined the day, time and place.

An adventure began when the moon crested the castle’s turret-sky.

Dawn broke over a teacup and set the table for breakfast.

We chose coffee, thousand grain bread and avocado.

In the government entertainment room a recital of “If It Were Only Me, It Would Be You” was in full sway.

Every day is a good one to see, or if not, then to write a play

“It’s all good!”, they said.

What was all good, we could not tell. But we were glad it was.

Easy to please, early to rise, slender evenings merging with the dark night and deep skies.

We sense puzzlement.

We are pleased about that.

The new book will therefore be “Puzzlement and the way to a perfectly puzzling life”.

Pure whimsy and frippery.

We are trying so hard to “specialize”!

Shall we see beyond the swings, the sand dunes and the stuck-in-cement telescopes?

Could we skate sideways past the shop window where Mrs. Jones will most surely see us and smile at memories of the school classroom?

Did the discussion at dinner bring new understanding, joy and delight?

Is this a good time to be asking these questions?

We can’t wait any longer!
