The coast was clear.
A phrase that could be bound in maritime chatter, but in this case it meant that nobody was outside and scantily clad, they could dance under the moonlight unconcerned about onlookers.
If you like to live feeling full of freedom and possibility then the coast is usually clear.
Or the nosy passers-by are not a deterrent, after all if you provide amusement as an incidental side effect of being yourself, that tends to be a good thing.
Living on the coast or in the mountains is highly recommended.
