Turn left, then right at the first sheep.

Was the sheep always going to be there, we wondered.

Which way we took became a guessing game about seasonal movements of livestock, river levels and cloud layers.

It was perhaps no easier than learning the Pacific Islander’s ocean navigation system using stars, wave patterns and other natural signs.

Yet, we enjoyed the success of getting to our destination, even if it took three times as long as predicted.

A shining star stays bright inside a darkened room.

It’s all about maintaining an intelligent streak.

This is no academic treatise, quite the reverse.

It’s about selecting when Not to listen.

It’s about discernment and sorting out the riff from the raff, the wheat from the chaff.

Keeping a dark room bright, that’s good.

Stop quoting other people.

I would love to know what you think.

Your version of Wikipedia or of the library of congress, that’s everybody’s source.

What You, You, You think and what You, You, think about what someone said or wrote…that’s interesting.

Learn to describe and paint a picture – I’ll try too! – and we’ll all get along just fine.

Many thanks in avance.
