No shoelaces, no ideas.

One day, upon waking to the sound of runners chattering as they kept pace and passed the window behind which I woke up, I had a flourish of ideas showering down from the skies.

I felt sure none of the runners had the same idea or were even thinking about the same subject.

And yet, there was no reason for me to think that.

None except an immodest and swollen consideration about the brilliance of any idea I ever have.

So….nothing.

Disparate hors d’oeuvres and the mountains of glass.

A feast.

But we were there for the discussion and anyway, we are trying to get away from this prying subject of food.

Lovely lessons in leaving.

A good thing to go.

A sad thing to leave.

For good reasons and by choice, not coercion.

The new and refreshing start.

The chance to play a bigger part.

Closely guarded secrets of a bubbling, brave new heart.

Babblingly relaxing to describe, we’ll look forward to that moment we see the gates of the city as we arrive.

Yes definitely.

That was our reaction to being offered the use of a villa overlooking the Sea of Cortez for 6 months.

Six bedrooms, two dens, two pools…one for me one for fish, and many vegetable plots.

The place was stunning. Original architecture that just…worked. Beauty and utility united.

Now, was that a dream or reality?

You see, we still wait for the keys, the address and the best airport to fly into.

Where is it!?

There’s a curve in the road.

You see where you came from and a new view to what’s up ahead.

A good time to look for a place to stop or how long to continue onward.

And it’s fun to skillfully master the turn.

Without these it’s less interesting and less informative.
